On Sunday 7th June 2026, the Cubs from 6th Harrow joined fellow Cubs from across the Harrow District for an action-packed Water Activities Afternoon at the beautiful Rickmansworth Aquadrome.
The young adventurers swapped dry land for the water and threw themselves into a variety of exciting activities, including Bell Boating, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and Canoeing. From balancing on paddleboards to working together in bell boats and learning new paddling skills in canoes, the Cubs showed great enthusiasm, teamwork and determination throughout the afternoon.
There were plenty of smiles, a few splashes, and lots of laughter as the Cubs challenged themselves, built confidence on the water, and made new friends from other groups across the district.
A huge thank you goes to the activity instructors, volunteers and leaders who helped make the event such a fantastic success. It was a brilliant afternoon of adventure and fun, and one that our Cubs will remember for a long time.
