Thanks to the fantastic efforts of our treasurers, we have formally been registered as a charity in England and Wales (charity no. 1213768).
Although our new status comes with additional responsibilities, it also opens up new opportunities for our group.
From access to free or discounted IT solutions, to easier fundraising via popular platforms or the ability to claim Gift Aid – which means that for each 4£ you give, we can claim back 1£ from HMRC at no extra cost to you.
All of these things mean that we can put more of your donations into activities for our young people.
